Human Services Program Goals Human Services program are to prepare generalists through an evolving curriculum which reflects changing skills, knowledge, and services in the human services field; to enhance graduate employment by providing students with a variety of strong internship opportunities and an extensive network of professional contacts; to encourage self-awareness in order that students may become better-functioning adults and more effective employees; to promote a better understanding of their culture and the culture of others so as to increase their abilities to work in an increasingly diverse world; to develop the habits of inquiry and learning; and to attempt to maximize transfer options for students who wish to continue their education beyond the community college.
