Cool Computer Science Project: Facial Images

Simon Baker, a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, spends a lot of his time staring at faces. Actually, it is a little more complicated than that.  Baker is working on image enhancement algorithms that will help to improve facial recognition from still and video images.  He is also working on algorithms that will help to automatically be able to recognize individuals from their image.
