Credit by Exam Option for
ITE 115 (formerly IST 114)
If you are in a program of study that
requires ITE 115, have not previously received a grade including a "W"
in the course, and believe you have the competencies required in this
course, you may apply to take the credit by exam (a
list of competencies may be
obtained from the Houff Student Center or on this web page). Part

with MS Office 2003 applications. Part II of the exam requires you to purchase SAM
2003 software (approximately $30).
For more information about applying for the credit by exam,
go to the Houff Student Center and ask to see a counselor. The application for taking the test must be completed and
approved by the division dean and IST program head. The counselor will provide you with more detailed information about this
test or click on the link for detailed steps to follow.
**An average score of
85% is needed to test out of the ITE 115 course.**
Notice
