December 17, 2004 - Your grades have been posted on your grade page. Extra credit, for those that earned it, has been added to your last test (or next to last test if the last test was dropped).

December 6, 2004 - Couple of announcements:

• I will be out of the office on Wednesday (12/8/04) and Friday (12/10/04).
• Tonight is the deadline for your last test on BlackBoard. While you're on BlackBoard, PLEASE fill out the on-line evaluation of me and the course.
• Do you understand what you're doing for the final exam? Please click on the link (bottom of the schedule) for details.

October 25, 2004 - Exams are graded and your most recent interim is now updated. Remember how to find it? Go to our homepage and click on the grade link.

October 21, 2004 - Gearing up for Saturday? I'm assuming you've clicked on the Cybersaturday link on the schedule page and then scrolled down to "Lab Work" and clicked on that link. Doing so will reveal many more things to click and print. Do so. Bring all of those printed sheets to lab with you. Naturally, some of the work can be done in advance. Carefully read everything before coming lab.

October 19, 2004 - We are rapidly approaching our mandatory Cybersaturday lab. Thanks for all the e-mails and questions. Apparently I have a few incorrect dates concerning the microscopy quiz which will be available AFTER the Saturday lab. I'll update these dates tomorrow morning.

October 13, 2004 - Will be out of the office on Friday. Will respond to e-mails, BlackBoard postings and phone messages Saturday afternoon.

October 1, 2004 - Couple of announcements:

• Are you finding the access code in your on-line lab manual (it's on the first page)? Please check and make sure you have an access code.
• Your interim grades are ready. Click on the grade link on our home page and follow the instructions. Note: nothing has been dropped yet.

September 29, 2004 - Couple of announcements:

• I've got at least one boo-boo on the biochemistry test and another question that could be phrased better. I can't tell you which questions since most of you haven't taken the test and not all of you will get these questions. Sadly, I won't be able to fix these questions until the test goes off-line. Expect at least a two point curve on this test. Special thank you to Sharel for letting me know of these questionable questions!
• I'm late on averaging your grades. I will attempt to complete the task this Friday.
• I'm looking forward to meeting all-y'all on cybersaturday (10/23/04)

September 12, 2004 - Y'all are a quite bunch. Haven't heard much on our discussion board. Keep an eye on your schedule (especially the deadlines for quizzes and tests). You should be taking your first test now and beginning the biochemistry unit.

September 7, 2004 - Things settling down into a pattern? Are you keeping an eye on the deadlines for the tests and quizzes (see schedule for dates of test and quiz availability on BlackBoard). I'll be out of the office on Wednesday and Thursday. I'll respond to e-mails and BlackBoard postings in the evenings.

August 28, 2004 - Well, the first week is over. I trust you have found this web site and the BlackBoard web site. I need the following to still take the practice quiz on BlackBoard:

August 11, 2004 - Welcome Cyberstudents! You should be receiving a letter in the mail calling your attention to some important information concerning this course. Please log onto BlackBoard and post a "Howdy" message introducing yourself to your fellow cyberstudents. BlackBoard should become active sometime next week.
