Also called Hedge Apple

Description

  • Ultimate height and width - Can easily reach 40 feet in height and width.
  • Foliage - Medium to dark green with a glossy covering.
  • Trunk/branch/trunk characteristics - Has short spines located along the stem where buds or leaves are attached.
  • Flower/fruit -  Fruit consists of a large green ball sometimes called "monkey brains."

  • Access Control - Good for making up large hedgerows. Not really suitable for installing in areas where it will be highly visible.
