Important dates:
- by March 1, lock in your own airfare. We will not necessarily travel as a group unless you request to travel with Mrs. Tiller. If that is the case, coordinate your flight with her. Plan your arrival on Saturday, May 17 to arrive no later than 8:00 pm.
- Mrs. Tiller will email electronic copies of the Blue Ridge forms to you. Return them to her as hard copies by March 30. The paper copies will be copied and one will in the possession of Mrs. Tiller during the trip, copy number 2 will be with the Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration at the BRCC campus. All information on these forms will be kept in strictest confidence and destroyed after your return. The med history is important for the leader to have in the event she has to take you for treatment etc, or in the event you are unconscious and need attention. This is the only use of the medical information (which will be destroyed after the trip).
- March 30, $225 fee (non refundable ) See #3 above. Make check payable to BRCC for Costa Rica Class.
Note: If you don’t have a passport, begin the process now to get one. Passport needs to be valid for six months after your scheduled return date. When you have your passport, make three black and white photo copies: two to Mrs. Tiller, and one copy to put in a separate place in your possession there. Believe us, this is an important thing to do. Copies due to Mrs. Tiller no later than April 26 (trip orientation day).
- April 26 orientation at BRCC from 10:00-3:00 required. Room TBA. The syllabus will be available at that session.
- no later than April 15 Make your bank transfers to the account noted on the website of the Instituto. You may need to go to a large, or regional bank that knows how to make the inter-bank transfers.
