Tentative syllabus for Spa 293 fall 2007
Spanish 293 (3 credits) Advanced Conversational Spanish for Professionals.  This course will be offered for four weekends in October starting October 12 fall 2007. The class has a prerequisite of Spanish 212 or equivalent. The course will be a modified immersion experience and will incorporate vocabulary and culture from many professions that cross boundaries. Teachers, law enforcement, nurses, other medical personnel, and other professions  will learn together in Spanish. The focus is the spoken language. Community people working with volunteer groups will find this class useful as a way to practice Spanish in an advanced format.
