Reflexive Verbs

These verbs have the pronoun se on the end of the infinitive:

acordarse

casarse

llamarse

That pronoun is removed in conjugation and is replace in front by a pronoun that refers to the subject. The pronoun can be translated with _____self. We do not use that terminology in English. You will have to memorize this list, because some of the verbs can be reflexive or non-reflexive. These pronouns must go with the verb. Some of these are also stem-changers

acordarse	me acuerdo	te acuerdas	se acuerda	nos acordamos	os acordaís	se acuerdan
casarse	me caso	te casas	se casa	nos casamos	os casaís	se casan
llamarse	me llamo	te llamas	se llama	nos llamamos	os llamaís	se llaman
olvidarse	me olvido	te olvidas	se olvida	nos olvidamos	os olvidaís	se olvidan
*sentarse	me siento	te sientas	se sienta	nos sentamos	os sentaís	se sientan
*sentirse	me siento	te sientes	te siente	nos sentimos	os sentís	se sienten

* notice these two verbs are not the same verb. The first person is the same and you will know by context the meaning.
